Endoscope Cleaning Guide

After the soft endoscope is used, wipe off the dirt on the outer surface with wet gauze, and repeatedly supply air and water for at least 10 seconds, remove the Endoscopic Devices and install the waterproof cover, and put it in a suitable container to the cleaning and disinfection room.

The cleaning steps, methods and key points include:

1. Washing

(1) Put the endoscope into the cleaning tank:

1. Rinse thoroughly under running water, scrub the lens body repeatedly with gauze, and clean the operating part at the same time;

2. Remove the biopsy inlet valve, the suction button and the air and water supply button, and use a Endoscope Cleaning Brush to thoroughly scrub the biopsy tunnel and the suction tube of the light guide tube. Thing

3. Install a full-pipe perfusion device, pipe plug, waterproof cap and aspirator, and use the aspirator to repeatedly suck the biopsy tunnel;

4. Connect a 50 ml syringe to the full-pipe perfusion device, and suck clean water into the air and water pipes;

5. Use a suction device to absorb the water in the biopsy tunnel and dry the lens body.

(2) Rinse the removed suction button, water and air button and biopsy inlet valve with clean water and wipe dry.

(3) Endoscope accessories such as biopsy forceps, cell brushes, incision knives, guide wires, lithotripters, mesh baskets, contrast catheters, foreign body forceps, etc., are used after use.

Put it in clean water first, scrub the inner surface and joints of the clamp flap with a single ended valve cleaning brush, wash and wipe dry.

(4) The cleaning gauze should be used for one-time use, and the cleaning brush should be disinfected one by one.

2. Enzyme washing

(1) The configuration and soaking time of the multi-enzyme lotion are in accordance with the product instructions.

(2) Put the dried endoscope in the enzyme washing tank, suck 100 ml of multi-enzyme washing liquid with a syringe, flush the air and water pipes, use suction

(3) After drying, the accessories, various buttons and valves are soaked in multi-enzyme lotion, and the accessories need to be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner for 5-10 minutes.

(4) The multi-enzyme lotion should be replaced after cleaning one endoscope.

3. Cleaning

(1) After the endoscope is immersed in the multi-enzyme lotion, rinse the pipes thoroughly with a water gun or syringe to remove the multi-enzyme lotion and loose dirt in the pipe, and rinse the outer surface of the endoscope at the same time.

(2) Use a 50 ml syringe to infuse the pipes to drain the water in the pipes to avoid diluting the disinfectant.
